Maitland Steam & Antique Machinery Association (MSAMA) is a club established in 2008 by a passionate group of steam and antique machinery enthusiasts in Maitland, NSW. The primary goal of the club is to restore, maintain, and operate steam and antique machinery, culminating in an annual rally held during the Hunter Valley Steamfest in April each year. MSAMA provides a platform for individuals interested in steam and antique machinery to come together, share common interests, and engage in event management activities, irrespective of whether they own such machinery.
Over the years, MSAMA has evolved to not only focus on steam and antique machinery but also to manage and cater to various community events at the Maitland Rally Ground, known as the Home of Steamfest. These events include the Postie Bike Nationals, Maitland Heritage Motor and Steam Fair, Maitland Wine Country Swap Meet & Motor Show, among others. The club’s commitment to preserving and showcasing historical machinery and organizing engaging events has made it a prominent fixture in the local community.
For those interested in becoming a member of MSAMA or seeking more information about the club’s activities, they can reach out via email to inquire about membership and other club-related details. With a rich history of celebrating steam and antique machinery, MSAMA continues to be a hub for enthusiasts, collectors, and individuals intrigued by the heritage and craftsmanship of these iconic machines.
