Deep Creek Child Care Centre is a community-managed Long Day Care and Full-day Funded Kindergarten Program that has been an integral part of the Manningham community since 1985. Operating as a self-funded, not-for-profit organization, the Centre is run by a volunteer Parent Committee of Management. With a focus on acknowledging and respecting Australia’s First Peoples as Traditional Owners of the land, Deep Creek Child Care Centre values reconciliation and cultural heritage appreciation.
Catering to children aged 6 months to 5 years, the Centre offers a funded 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten Program led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Committed to providing high-quality curriculum based on children’s interests and choices, the Centre maintains a professional educator team that is dedicated, experienced, and qualified. With a strong emphasis on meeting Government Regulations and the National Quality Standard, Deep Creek Child Care Centre ensures a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Deep Creek Child Care Centre prides itself on offering nutritious meals prepared by a qualified cook, following the Australian Dietary Guidelines for children in Long Day Care. Families are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s learning journey, with numerous opportunities for involvement in the Centre’s programs and activities. With a bond refundable upon a child’s departure and a working bee levy for community engagement, Deep Creek Child Care Centre remains committed to providing a supportive and inclusive space for children to thrive.
