With nearly 10 years of operation, the cafe is staffed by experienced staff and students pursuing in-school Certification for careers in hospitality. The not-for-profit organization reinvests all proceeds back into the College and education programs for students, embodying a commitment to both practical learning and community support.
Aside from its cafe operations, Tradewynds also features a separate function and meeting room that can accommodate up to 40 people. Equipped with modern technology such as a touch screen panel and webcam for presentations or meetings, the function room provides a versatile space for various events. The cafe’s dedication to providing a holistic learning environment is further emphasized by its restriction on high school student usage without written teacher permission, ensuring a professional and focused atmosphere for both staff and customers.
