Townsville School Sport (TSS) 10–12 years is a prominent organization overseeing all primary school sport in Townsville and representative sport for students aged 10–12 years. With a focus on providing interschool sporting opportunities for both state and non-state school students in 13 different sports, TSS plays a vital role in promoting physical activity and healthy competition among young individuals. The organization’s commitment to offering a diverse range of sports ensures that all of Townsville’s 45 primary schools can participate in at least one of these engaging activities.

Operating on a structured schedule, the interschool sporting season at TSS is divided into 3 x 7-week seasons, allowing for consistent and organized gameplay. Fixtures are conveniently conducted within school time, with Thuringowa district schools competing on Thursdays and Townsville district schools on Fridays.
