Toowoomba Basketball Association offers a range of programs catering to different age groups, including the Mini Neers program designed as an introduction to basketball for kids aged 6 to 14 years. Split into three groups – Dribblers, Hoopers, and Rising Stars – the program runs over 6 weeks during the school term. With expert coaches focusing on building confidence, character development, and life skills, Toowoomba Basketball aims to not only nurture young athletes but also develop better individuals through positive choices and resilience building.

As the Representative program of the Toowoomba Basketball Association, the Clive Berghofer Junior and Senior Mountaineers compete in various regional and state-level basketball competitions. With a rich history dating back to 1948, Toowoomba Basketball has evolved into a dynamic and professional association, governed by the TBA Management Committee and operated by a dedicated team. The association’s vision is to be a leading regional entity in the Darling Downs and SEQLD for basketball delivery, development, and community engagement, aspiring to excellence within the broader Australian basketball landscape.
