Theatre Arts Mackay Dance Excellence (TAMDE), formerly known as Theatre Arts Mackay, was established in April 2017 with a focus on creating a unique family environment that welcomes all to their team. Their objective is to provide a fun, enjoyable, positive, and safe space for children to explore their passion for dance and musical theatre. Whether students are dancing for fitness, fun, competition experience, or career preparation, TAMDE aims to be the number one choice for all dance enthusiasts.
All staff at TAMDE are fully qualified and experienced in their disciplines, offering classes for students ranging from 2 years old to adults. In addition to teaching dance, acrobatics, and musical theatre, the studio emphasizes the development of essential life skills such as confidence, motivation, and teamwork. TAMDE prides itself on fostering a supportive and encouraging family environment where everyone can thrive together.
The studio is equipped with two spacious purpose-built studios featuring sprung timber floors, an air-conditioned waiting area, warm-up room, students’ room, kitchen, and toilets/change rooms. Studio A and Studio B offer distinct environments for different types of classes, ensuring an optimal learning experience for all students. With a team of highly qualified instructors and a commitment to excellence, TAMDE is dedicated to providing top-notch dance education and a nurturing community for all its members.
