Managed by Sharon Kennerdale, who brings over 20 years of experience in childcare management, the centre prides itself on offering a warm and welcoming space where children are encouraged to have fun, explore, and take initiative in their learning journey. Following the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards, the centre focuses on scaffolding children’s learning through intentional teaching practices, critical reflection, and spontaneous experiences, promoting holistic development and a sense of belonging and becoming.
Stepping Stone Hove Childcare & Early Development Centre is part of the Stepping Stone (SA) network, which is 100% owned and operated by South Australians. With a capacity for 120 children, the centre provides a unique opportunity for families to be part of an extended community that goes beyond traditional childcare, aiming to make a real difference in the quality of education and care provided to all children.
