St Emilie’s Catholic Primary School is a vibrant, co-educational and multicultural primary school of approximately 450 students, from Kindergarten to Year 6. St Emilie de Vialar, our Patron Saint, was born on September 12, 1797, in France and was the founder of the Society of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition, a religious congregation dedicated to the care and education of the poor and disadvantaged. St. Emilie de Vialar is remembered for her compassion and commitment to helping those in need, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare. She is an inspiration to many for her selfless dedication to serving others, and her legacy lives on through the work of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition.
First known as Canning Vale Catholic Primary School, St Emilie’s Catholic Primary School was established in 2002 with 40 students. St Emilie’s Catholic Primary School has now grown into a vibrant, co-educational and multicultural primary school of approximately 450 students, from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school’s logo, with the Cross, Leaves, Four Quadrants, and colors Gold and Royal Blue, symbolizes the school’s commitment to Christ-centered education, growth, community collaboration, and faith-based values.
