The Southern Tasmanian Badminton Association (STBA) is a vibrant organization dedicated to promoting the sport of badminton to all levels of players throughout the year. Based at the H Thompson Badminton Centre in South Hobart, Tasmania, the STBA offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for badminton enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. Managed by a dedicated Committee elected annually, the STBA operates under the guidance of key roles such as the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Officer. The Association also benefits from the support of a Patron who helps uphold its values and mission. In addition to its core management team, the STBA employs a Centre Manager and a Community Engagement Development Officer, along with several reception staff members who ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
