Established in September 2014, SAYarts upholds the strong tradition of professionally-facilitated theatre-making for young people aged 13-18. In addition to regular classes, SAYarts offers students the unique opportunity to create and present work with a professional playwright at prestigious events such as the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Dream BIG, AGSA Neo, and WOMAD. The team consists of trained industry professionals, including graduates from Australian and International Drama Schools, who provide masterclasses and specialized training to help students learn and grow in their craft.

With a focus on fostering creativity and fun, SAYarts aims to provide a supportive environment where young artists can explore and develop their talents. The teaching artists at SAYarts are not only skilled in their craft but also equipped with COVID training, Working With Children Checks, and Child Safe Environment training to ensure a safe and enriching experience for all participants. The business’s commitment to excellence and inclusivity is evident in their dedication to producing original shows and engaging with the local theatre community to create memorable and impactful performances.
