Ryde Persian School (RPS) recently celebrated 35 years of successful community work and education, focusing on Iran, Iranian Culture, and the Persian language. Operating as a non-for-profit educational organization under the umbrella of the “Iranian Educational and Cultural Centre Inc.,” RPS aims to teach Persian Language to individuals of all ages. The school prides itself on promoting the cultural heritage of the Persian community in Australia, irrespective of race, religious beliefs, or political views.
RPS offers Persian language classes for children from kindergarten to HSC level, utilizing Asan Amouz Persian educational books and supplemental materials to enhance student learning and confidence. Additionally, the school caters to adult learners, whether beginners or those with intermediate skills, focusing on practical language usage. Classes run every Saturday during school terms, providing a comprehensive educational experience for all interested in learning the Persian language and culture.
Established in 1988, Ryde Persian School has been a pioneer in preserving Persian language and culture in Australia. With a dedicated board of directors and experienced teachers, including Mrs. Forouza Soltani as the Principal, RPS continues to uphold its mission of celebrating and promoting Iranian cultural heritage.
