Point Cook Centrals Sharks F.C, established in 2012, has become a prominent figure in the Western Football Netball League since their debut in 2013. The club has experienced significant growth, expanding into various sports such as Netball, Girls Football, and Auskick. With junior and senior AFL teams, as well as junior and senior Netball teams, the Sharks compete in multiple leagues in the western region of Melbourne. Emphasizing a community and family-oriented approach, the club upholds a ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy towards anti-social, unfair, discriminatory, or poor behavior.
Throughout their history, Point Cook Centrals Sharks F.C has achieved remarkable success, securing multiple senior men’s premierships in Football, a senior women’s premiership in Football, and numerous Netball premierships across different leagues. Their Junior programs have also excelled, with Netball and Football teams clinching multiple premierships. Notably, in 2023, the Under 15 Junior Girls team made history by winning the division 2 Grand Final, showcasing the club’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a winning culture.
Located at 33 Windorah Drive, Point Cook, Victoria, the Point Cook Centrals Sporting Club acknowledges and respects the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia. They recognize the enduring connection of Indigenous communities to the land and waters. The club pays homage to elders past, present, and emerging, while also acknowledging the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which they operate.
