Playball Basketball is an affiliated association of Basketball Victoria that specializes in running after-school basketball competitions and training programs for primary school children, catering to Boys and Girls in Years 1 to 6. With a year-round competition schedule (excluding school holidays), Playball operates in various Melbourne stadiums and school gymnasiums, including locations from MSAC in Albert Park to GESAC in Bentleigh East, serving families in Port Phillip, Stonnington, and Bayside. Additionally, they have a presence at Aqualink in Box Hill and surrounding areas, catering to families in Whitehorse and Boroondara.
With a focus on kids’ participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and fun, Playball Basketball hosts around 400 teams weekly. They provide pathways for young players to progress to VJBL competitions, emphasizing holistic player development both on and off the court.
