Parkside Community Child Care Centre and Parkside Community OSHC are not-for-profit community-based childcare services located in the heart of the Parkside community in Adelaide. The centres provide high-quality care for children aged 6 weeks to school age, with a focus on creating a nurturing and safe environment for children to thrive. The management committee, comprised of parent representatives, ensures that the centres have been delivering trusted childcare services since 1976.
At Parkside Community Child Care Centre, the team acknowledges and respects the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the lands and waters of the Adelaide region. They pay homage to the cultural, spiritual, and emotional connection the Kaurna people have with their land, waters, and community. The centre’s philosophy is rooted in honoring the heritage beliefs of the Kaurna people, recognizing their importance to the living Kaurna community today.
Parkside Community OSHC, located at Parkside Primary School, offers before and after school care, as well as a vacation care program for children aged 4 to 14 years. The team at both centres is dedicated to providing a caring and supportive environment where children can enjoy their time while parents can have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in good hands. Families are invited to connect with the centres to book a tour and meet the team.
