Northern Mallee Local Learning & Employment Network (NMLLEN) is a not-for-profit organization based in North-West Victoria, dedicated to improving career pathways for young people. Established in 2001 and funded by the State Government, NMLLEN collaborates closely with schools, students, and industries to identify gaps in education and training. Through strategic advice on policy issues and the facilitation of cross-sector partnerships, NMLLEN aims to better support young individuals in the region.
NMLLEN offers a range of programs and initiatives by engaging with local employers, schools, training providers, families, and community organizations. These efforts aim to enhance education and training outcomes for young people in the Northern Mallee region. By providing access to quality Work Based Learning opportunities such as Structured Workplace Learning Placements, Work Experience, and School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, NMLLEN bridges the gap between education and industry needs.
With a focus on strengthening education, vocational training pathways, and support for disengaged youth, NMLLEN is committed to achieving better awareness of local youth participation in education, training, and employment. Through partnerships with key organizations like FLO Connect, Mallee Navigator, and STEM4Sunraysia, NMLLEN continues to play a vital role in guiding young individuals towards successful pathways in education, training, and employment within the community.
