NETschool Bendigo, a second campus of Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC), is dedicated to providing a highly individualized program that focuses on supporting each learner’s wellbeing and readiness to learn. The success of NETschool is rooted in its core values of TRUST, OPTIMISM, and COMMITMENT, which guide the staff in actively listening, accepting differences, and promoting respect for all individuals. The program aims to empower learners to confidently participate in various activities and social contexts, fostering resilience and confidence in their ability to learn independently and collaboratively.
NETschool offers two program options for new learners: Centre-based learning (full-time) and Progression learning (part-time), depending on availability and individual circumstances. The goal is to help each learner find their best education pathway, whether it involves completing secondary education, pursuing skilled employment, or further training beyond BSSC. The dedicated team of mentors and specialist teachers at NETschool provide individualized support, focusing on actively listening, accepting differences, and promoting respect to guide each learner on their unique education journey.
NETschool’s commitment to empowering learners for individual, community, and global leadership is evident in its emphasis on values such as Respect, Optimism, Learning, and Engagement. By providing access to formal studies aligned with each learner’s needs and fostering relational skills and resilience, NETschool aims to equip students with the tools necessary to succeed in various educational and professional endeavors. With a focus on safety and wellbeing, Bendigo Senior Secondary College ensures that the care and decision-making processes prioritize the welfare of all children and young people involved in the program.
