MILC (Mothers Infants & Lactation Consultancy) is a business that was established in 2011, initially focusing on private lactation consultancy services. Recognizing the need for more personalized support for women and their families during the early stages of motherhood, MILC expanded its services to provide antenatal and postnatal support, lactation consultancy, and sleep and settling advice. Through the use of telehealth and phone consultations, MILC is able to extend its services beyond Orange and its surrounding towns, offering assistance to mothers and babies in various locations.
In 2015, MILC expanded its offerings by acquiring the MILCSHOP, a space where women can receive consultations, feed their babies in a peaceful environment, hire breast pumps, and purchase essential items for themselves and their infants. The shop aims to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where women can seek guidance, ask questions, and receive reassurance about their parenting journey. Despite facing personal challenges, including a significant medical diagnosis within the founder’s family, MILC remains committed to providing unique and compassionate services to new mothers and families.
