Mike Reynolds Early Childhood Centre (MRECC) has been a cornerstone of high-quality childcare in Townsville since 1993. As a community-based, not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre managed by a dedicated parent committee, MRECC prides itself on offering exceptional childcare services for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten. Our team of educators is committed to creating a safe, secure, and supportive environment where children can thrive and learn.
At MRECC, we believe in providing a holistic approach to early childhood education, focusing on the individual needs and development of each child. With four well-equipped day care rooms and a purpose-built Kindergarten facility, children at MRECC have the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching activities and learning experiences. Our center’s picturesque setting under the tropical Banyan Tree offers a serene and stimulating backdrop for children to play, explore, and grow.
