Lions FC Stadium, formerly known as Hollandia and Brisbane Lions, has a rich history dating back to 1957 when it was founded by Dutch immigrants. Over the years, the club has evolved to become a prominent figure in Queensland football, participating in various competitions and leagues. With a focus on playing football at the highest level possible, Lions FC has achieved success in premierships, grand finals, and cup finals, culminating in their acceptance into the Hyundai A-League in 2005.
Today, Lions FC offers a wide range of services and programs catering to different age groups and skill levels. From youth teams to senior men’s and women’s teams, the club is actively involved in National Premier League competitions and Skills Acquisition Programs. With a strong emphasis on junior development, Lions FC boasts a large number of Aldi MiniRoos and Divisional teams, providing opportunities for over 500 players in the local community.
Aside from its sporting endeavors, Lions FC also operates Lions Richlands, a premier hospitality venue in south-east Queensland. The venue features state-of-the-art gaming machines, function rooms, fine dining options, a sports bar, and various entertainment facilities.
