Welcome to Kurilpa Community Childcare Centre! We are a non-profit organization located in West End, Brisbane, dedicated to providing quality childcare and education for children and families. One of the unique aspects of Kurilpa Community Childcare Centre is our Bigi Molum (Forest School) program. This innovative approach to education emphasizes the benefits of regular access to green spaces for children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Through engaging in outdoor activities, our children experience reduced stress, increased creativity, self-esteem, connection to nature, sensory integration, and more. Our Forest School sessions provide opportunities for children to explore, create, and learn with natural resources, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the environment.
