KU Braddon Children’s Centre celebrates childhood by providing a nurturing environment where children’s imagination and curiosity are sparked through play and exploration. Our philosophy emphasizes the combination of care and education tailored to each child’s needs, interests, and skills. With large indoor and outdoor learning areas, we offer a wide range of activities such as creative arts, early literacy, science experiments, music, and more to enhance children’s development and understanding of the world around them.
At KU Braddon, we specialize in Playspaces to create a secure and emotionally supportive environment for children and families during morning drop-offs. Our team of qualified and experienced early childhood educators is dedicated to fostering positive interactions and relationships with children, ensuring a high-quality learning program. We are proud to have been independently assessed as ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard, reflecting our commitment to providing exceptional care and education for children in Canberra’s Inner North.
In addition to our well-rounded programs, KU Braddon offers a variety of services including Playspaces, outdoor learning environments, and a focus on building strong relationships with families. As a not-for-profit provider with over 125 years of experience, KU remains dedicated to offering quality education while working closely with families to provide fee reductions through the Child Care Subsidy. Our partnership with the ACT Government further demonstrates our commitment to early childhood education by offering 3-year-old children 300 hours of free preschool, supporting families and children in their educational journey.
