Committed to assisting those in need in the Southern Tasmanian community, HCM provides emotional, physical, and financial support through innovative programs and services. Their mission is to empower individuals to participate in community life with dignity, purpose, and self-reliance, creating compassionate, resilient, and connected local communities.

With a focus on finding solutions for those facing hardship and homelessness, Hobart City Mission offers a range of services such as emergency assistance, innovative programs, and support for specific groups like single fathers through initiatives like DIY Dads and teenage mothers through Small Steps. They aim to address the needs of a diverse range of individuals, regardless of circumstance or background, guided by their Christian heritage and values of respect, transparency, and collaboration.
