Hills Musical Theatre Company Inc, established as The Hills Musical Society Inc in 1972, has been providing quality community theatre in the Hills District of New South Wales for over 50 years. Located in the heart of the Hills, they produce two major musical productions each year, offering opportunities for individuals to learn about theatre and stagecraft through participation in various production aspects. From singing, acting, and dancing on stage to set construction, lighting, sound, and costumes, the company fosters a collaborative environment for all members.
The company’s philosophy revolves around inclusivity and community engagement, welcoming individuals aged 16 and over to become members and participate in their productions. While those under 16 can still perform in shows, they are unable to be financial members. Hills Musical Theatre Company provides a platform for aspiring directors, musical directors, choreographers, and other theatre enthusiasts to showcase their talents and contribute to the vibrant theatre scene in the region.
