Highett Youth Club offers Calisthenics, Cheerleading, and Gymnastics classes at both recreational and competitive levels. The club is a not-for-profit organization run by a committee of management and an administration team. The coaching staff are paid professionals, while the committee members are volunteers who dedicate their time for the benefit of the club. The committee meets monthly to discuss strategic management and club development matters, aiming to further the interests of all programs.
The club’s vision is to inspire and develop dreams, with a mission to enrich the community by providing a safe, family-friendly environment for active and engaged lifestyles. Highett Youth Club’s core values of respect, belief, dedication, commitment, passion, and community guide their daily operations and decision-making processes. They embrace individual differences, believe in the capabilities of their members, and are committed to tailoring programs based on age, capability, and learning capacity.
The club’s committee, led by President Sally Kane and Vice President Vanja Evtimov, is elected annually by club members. Highett Youth Club encourages enthusiastic and creative individuals to join the committee to contribute to the club’s growth and success. With a focus on fostering a sense of community and embracing diversity, the club aims to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to pursue their passions and achieve their goals.
