Harkaway Hills College is an Independent Girls School founded on the principles of parents being the primary educators for their children. The College, a project of the Parents for Education (PARED) Victoria Foundation, offers a quality academic curriculum, religious education, personalised learning through a mentor system, and a focus on virtue education. Currently catering to co-education from Prep to Year 2 and Girls only from Grade 3 to Grade 8, the College plans to expand to Grade 12, adding a grade level each year.
At Harkaway Hills College, the emphasis is on character development and virtues, with a strong partnership between parents and the school. The school’s unique mentoring program ensures each student has a personal mentor for support, guidance, and goal setting. The College follows a highly personalized education model, similar to other successful PARED schools, with a focus on fostering good habits and virtues to help students make positive choices in life.
Religious education plays a significant role at Harkaway Hills College, aiming to deepen students’ knowledge of the Catholic faith and encourage them to practice their beliefs with conviction. The College’s beautiful campus in semi-rural Narre Warren North is being developed to provide a conducive learning environment. With a strong community of supportive staff, teachers, and parents who share the same vision, Harkaway Hills College is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals in a faith-based and academically enriching setting.
