Gymnastics South Australia is a not-for-profit association established in 1949, dedicated to promoting, developing, and growing gymnastics for the enjoyment of all. Governed by a volunteer Board of Management and managed by State Office staff, Gymnastics SA comprises affiliated clubs, life members, registered athletes, and technical members. With a focus on six GymSports including Men’s Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Aerobic Gymnastics, and Acrobatic Gymnastics, the organization services approximately 16,000 members, offering programs for athletes of all levels of ability.
Embracing a philosophy that gymnastics is a sport for everybody, Gymnastics South Australia provides participation programs designed to promote fun, fitness, friendship, and fundamental movement skills in a safe and positive environment. The organization’s High Performance programs aim to develop athletes for success on the international stage, including World Championships and Olympic Games.
