GSODA Incorporated is a not-for-profit, community-based theatre company located in Geelong, Australia. Comprising of GSODA Inc, GSODA Theatre Collective, GSODA Junior Players, and GSODA Workshop, the organization is dedicated to promoting growth, spirit, openness, determination, and awareness in the local community. Governed by a Council of Management consisting of business professionals and former members, GSODA’s values serve as the foundation for decision-making and operations within the company.
With a rich history of acknowledging and respecting the Traditional Owners of the land, specifically the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, GSODA celebrates the cultural heritage and custodianship of the land. The company pays homage to the Elders, past and present, and strives to honor the memory of honorable ancestors. Through its commitment to cultural awareness and inclusivity, GSODA aims to create a vibrant and welcoming environment for all participants and audience members.
