Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA) is located at the University’s main campus at Bedford Park, south of Adelaide’s city centre. As custodian of over 8000 Australian and international works spanning the 15th to 21st centuries, FUMA boasts one of the largest public art collections in South Australia. Serving as an academic resource and hub for cultural and intellectual exchange, FUMA engages in cross-disciplinary projects, exhibitions, education, and public programs.

FUMA acknowledges and respects the Kaurna people as the traditional owners of the Adelaide region, honoring their heritage, beliefs, and spiritual connection to the land. The museum’s current exhibition features a diverse range of artists curated by Catherine Speck and Jude Adams, showcasing works that delve into themes of First Nations rights, resistance, and recognition. Additionally, FUMA offers artist-led workshops on campus, inviting students and staff to create and connect through artistic endeavors.

Supported by individuals who believe in the power of art, FUMA invites visitors to explore its extensive collection, which includes pieces like digital images, screenprints, and political posters. With a commitment to inspiring achievement and making a difference, Flinders University Museum of Art embodies a dedication to diversity, inclusion, and Indigenous education, striving to create a vibrant and values-based community for all.
