With a capacity to accommodate 87 children, the centre is divided into two buildings to cater to different age groups. Owned and operated by Arthur and Paula Papanicolaou since 1997, the centre is committed to meeting the needs and interests of children through a play-based learning approach.
Under the guidance of Paula, who is well-versed in primary and early childhood education, the centre focuses on creating a nurturing environment that complements the family’s role in child-rearing. Arthur oversees the administrative aspects of the business, ensuring smooth operations and transparent communication with parents. Governed by the Education and Care Services National Regulations, Essex Heights Juniors adheres to strict standards set by the Department of Education & Early Childhood Development and the Commonwealth Government.
