EACH – Community Health Service is a longstanding organization that has been dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of individuals in the community since its establishment as Maroondah Social Health Centre in 1974. With a strong belief in the importance of holistic health, EACH offers a wide range of supports to address various social determinants of health, such as access to housing, education, and employment. The organization’s philosophy is rooted in the principle that everyone deserves good health, regardless of socio-economic factors.
Over the past 50 years, EACH has evolved into a responsive, community-based entity with a team of approximately 1500 employees and 200 volunteers. Serving over 65,000 customers across 58 locations along the eastern seaboard of Australia, including metropolitan and regional areas of Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland, EACH is committed to providing comprehensive services to assist community members in leading happier and healthier lives.
EACH acknowledges the significance of its work taking place on the Traditional Lands of many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and pays respect to their Elders, past and present. By recognizing the ongoing Custodianship of the Land and Water by all Members of these Communities, EACH demonstrates its commitment to cultural inclusivity and community engagement in its efforts to promote health and wellbeing for all.
