From the FREE Dolphin Interaction Zone to Dolphin Eco-Cruises, Discovery & Interpretive Centre, and Swim With The Dolphin Tour, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Centre also provides Whale-Watching Tours in the Southwest Region, led by eco-tourism certified operators covering the North & Southward Migration from May to Nov.

Established in 1994, Dolphin Discovery Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to conservation, eco-tourism, education, and research projects. Collaborating with universities, government departments, and like-minded organizations locally and internationally, the Centre focuses on the well-being of the wild dolphin population and marine environment. Volunteers play a crucial role in the organization, assisting visitors, managing dolphin interaction programs, and guiding tours to increase public awareness about dolphins and marine life.

The Centre’s commitment to conservation is evident through its fundraising efforts, which support essential programs such as Dolphin Rescue, Whale Stranding, and Turtle Rehabilitation. Donations are tax-deductible and contribute to the $300,000 required annually to fund these life-saving initiatives. By visiting the Dolphin Discovery Centre, guests not only enjoy unforgettable experiences but also actively participate in protecting the future of marine life in Koombana Bay and beyond.
