At CatholicCare Victoria, we are dedicated to empowering communities and fostering resilience to help individuals achieve their full potential. Our comprehensive range of services includes child, family, and youth support, family relationship services, school counseling, social housing, homelessness assistance, employment services, and advocacy programs. Regardless of background or beliefs, our support services are available to all in need across various locations in Victoria.
As the social service agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and the Catholic Dioceses of Ballarat, Sale, and Sandhurst, CatholicCare Victoria has a rich history of over 190 years of combined service. Following the merger of Centacare Ballarat, CatholicCare Melbourne/Gippsland, and CatholicCare Sandhurst in January 2021, we have strengthened our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to individuals and families in need throughout Victoria.
Our philosophy at CatholicCare Victoria centers around building thriving communities, promoting positive relationships, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals, especially children. We actively work to prevent and report child abuse, while also offering a range of programs to support mental health, parenting skills, and career development. By acknowledging and respecting the Traditional Custodians of the lands, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of the community.
