Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre, formerly known as The Children’s Centre of Beenleigh, has been a staple in the local community for 25 years. Under the guidance of a prominent Montessori teacher, the centre has transitioned to a Montessori Philosophy and Education approach. This transformation has created a learning environment that fosters independence and freedom through purposeful materials, with educators who serve as Guides and Peacekeepers.
Catering to children from 15 months to 5 years old, as well as offering before and after school care and vacation care for school-age children, the centre provides a vibrant and welcoming space for young learners. By focusing on the five curriculum areas of Sensorial, Practical Life, Language, Culture, and Mathematics, the centre introduces fundamental learning concepts to children under six years old, helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong lessons.
Committed to aligning with the National Quality Standards and the Montessori Philosophy, Beenleigh Montessori Early Learning Centre offers a holistic program that emphasizes documenting and sharing each child’s learning and development. Through the use of an online platform, Storypark, parents are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s learning journey, providing feedback and input to drive their child towards success while in the centre’s care.
