Founded by Madianne Hynes, a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in the education system, Avonlea FDC offers a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. With a focus on play-based learning, creative arts, and outdoor activities, Avonlea FDC encourages children to express themselves and make choices in their daily activities.
At Avonlea FDC, children are given the opportunity to engage in structured play while also having the freedom to explore their interests and develop their own agency. Madianne believes in supporting children’s individual needs and providing a space where they can interact with other children and adults in a safe and inclusive setting. As a Registered Educator and a member of Nature Alliance Family Day Care Services, Avonlea FDC is committed to upholding high standards of care and education for all children under their supervision.
With a strong emphasis on family values and creating lasting memories, Avonlea FDC welcomes families to join their close-knit community. Madianne and her family, including her husband Jerome and their children Sofia and Oliver, have transitioned to city life in East Bunbury while maintaining their connection to the land and culture of the Wardandi Noongar people. Through a blend of structured activities and child-led play, Avonlea FDC aims to provide a supportive and enriching environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
