Arco Music Academy, founded in Sydney in 2012 by Fox Chan, is a renowned institution dedicated to training young musicians to a professional standard and exposing them to a professional work environment from a tender age. With a team of 21 instrumental teachers and 128 students, Arco Music Academy offers a range of programs including the Orchestra program, Chamber Music Program, Pre Rising Stars Training Program, and school links program. The academy’s mission is to provide aspiring musicians with the opportunity to be educated and enlightened in their study of instruments and music, regardless of their musical background.
AMACO, one of the orchestras under Arco Music Academy, focuses on teaching teamwork, discipline, dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. The Chamber Music Program allows small groups of 3 to 8 players to receive personalized feedback and enhance their teamwork skills in an orchestral setting. The academy’s Pre Rising Stars Training Program prepares young students for successful entry into the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Open Academy Rising Stars Junior Program. With a specialized string program for students of all ages, Arco Music Academy aims to nurture the next generation of musicians and foster an appreciation for classical music.
