The facility underwent a significant redevelopment in 2002, transforming it into the major indoor community aquatic and leisure center in South West Victoria. Despite facing challenges such as poor accessibility and aging infrastructure, AquaZone maintains a strong commitment to safety, evident in its impressive compliance and safety scores from recent audits conducted by Life Saving Victoria.
As AquaZone looks towards the future, the center is exploring options for either renewing or redeveloping its existing site to better serve the community’s needs.
