Amigoss Spanish Bilingual Childcare, operated by Amigoss Preschool and Long Day Care Cooperative Limited, is a renowned not-for-profit organization that has been dedicated to providing high-quality educational and care services to children and families since 1980. With a focus on developing children’s sensory skills, symbolic play, imagination, and creativity, Amigoss offers a comprehensive meal program overseen by an in-house cook, serving over 800 meals a week. The center’s commitment to holistic development extends to incorporating sports and yoga activities, which are essential for the positive physical and mental growth of children. Established by a group of determined Spanish immigrants and with the support of the Spanish and Australian Governments, Amigoss has evolved over four decades to become one of the most competitive not-for-profit children’s services organizations in Sydney’s inner west. The center caters to children aged 6 months to 6 years, managing an average of 29 children daily and up to 45 families weekly. With a team of 15 dedicated staff members, including an in-house cook, Amigoss has consistently met national quality standards, as recognized in the 2019 ACECQA inspection.
