Cairns Choral Society, established in 1979, is a prominent musical organization in Cairns, Queensland. The society’s journey began with the opening of their dedicated hall in August 1979, a significant milestone achieved through the collective efforts of Cairns citizens. Led by a dedicated team including Patron Don Fry AO and President Ryan Crippin, the society has continuously strived to provide a suitable venue for rehearsals, storage, and meetings, culminating in the completion of the hall in 1982 with the acquisition of new equipment and facilities.

With a strong leadership team comprising individuals such as Secretary Heather Law OAM and Musical Director Joanne Wright, Cairns Choral Society is committed to fostering a vibrant musical community in the region.
