The Boyce Gardens Rainforest is a six-hectare garden, forest, and park established by Leslie and Margaret Boyce in Toowoomba. Over the span of almost sixty years, the Boyces dedicated their lives to creating this magnificent space, blending eucalyptus woodland, natural rainforest, and a run-down dairy farm into a stunning oasis. Their innovative approach to garden design set them apart, incorporating new ideas that continue to inspire admiration today.

Entrusted to The University of Queensland, the Gardens serve as a tribute to the couple’s dedication and foresight. The University, located at the Gatton campus west of Brisbane, is committed to maintaining and developing the Gardens for the enjoyment, education, and delight of the Toowoomba community, as well as visitors from across Australia and around the world.
