Established in 1860, the Ballarat Football Netball Club stands as the 3rd oldest continually running football club in Australia, tracing its roots back to the early days of Australian football. With a proud history within the Victorian football landscape, the club has been a stalwart member of the Ballarat Football Association since its inception in 1893, now known as the Ballarat Football Netball League (BFNL). Offering a range of sporting opportunities, including senior football, women’s football, netball, Swans Junior football & netball, and Storm Junior football & netball, the club serves as a hub for community engagement and athletic development.

Boasting an impressive record of 19 senior premierships and a legacy of success in finals series and Grand Finals, the Ballarat Football Netball Club embodies a commitment to excellence and sportsmanship. Led by a dedicated team of individuals, including President Karl Drever and coach Chris Maple, the club continues to uphold its traditions while embracing modern advancements in the sporting world. With a recent injection of funding from the State Labor Government, the club looks towards a bright future of growth and improvement at the Alfredton Recreation Reserve and the Alfredton Sports & Community Club.
