Riverbend Park is a newly established all-abilities park located in Launceston, Tasmania, that has revitalized a former industrial precinct into a vibrant recreational area. Funded by the City of Launceston and the State and Federal Governments, the park is divided into four distinct zones: The River Play area, Gorge Play area, Wild Core area, and Urban Plaza, each offering a variety of play equipment and experiences for visitors of all ages and abilities.

Featuring swings, diggers, sand pits, a wheelchair carousel, water play area, musical instruments, outdoor table tennis, see-saws, and a full-size sports court, Riverbend Park provides a diverse range of activities for families and individuals to enjoy. The park’s standout attractions include the Sky Walk and the ‘confluence net’, which are among the largest pieces of play equipment in Australia.
