WRISC Family Violence Support is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing free and confidential services for women and children, regardless of disability, ethnicity, indigenous or tribal status, race, religion, or gender identity. With a deep understanding that family violence transcends all communities and circumstances, WRISC collaborates with various services and supports to ensure an inclusive, relevant, and respectful response. By actively engaging with the Ballarat Regional Multicultural Services and representatives of the LGBTIQ+ community, WRISC is committed to better understanding and effectively addressing the diverse needs of individuals.
Committed to serving rural areas in the Central Highlands region, WRISC offers outreach services to address the unique challenges faced by rural communities. The organization’s Family Violence Outreach Program provides a safe space for women to share their experiences without fear of judgment or discrimination.
