Through innovative learning programs, the school connects schools and industry to challenge students to solve real-world problems and understand the skills, challenges, and implications behind product innovation. Students can participate in programs like Girls in STEM, which offer fun, engaging, and immersive activities to foster interest and involvement in STEM fields.
With a focus on hands-on, high-tech, industry skills-based experiences, the Ballarat Tech School offers school-booked programs and specialist learning opportunities. The school welcomes partnerships to help prepare students for the future workforce and to inspire innovation. Its state-of-the-art facilities support community events and programs that inform, connect, and inspire individuals to embrace and shape the future.
As a Victorian State Government initiative, the Ballarat Tech School is designed to provide flexible access to the latest STEM learning and emerging technologies for students from all local secondary schools, including Victorian Government, Catholic, and Independent schools.
