Living & Learning Pakenham Inc. (LLP) is a community-focused organization operating the Skills and Wellbeing Centre in Pakenham, Victoria. Established in 1989, LLP is dedicated to enhancing economic participation and promoting health and wellbeing opportunities for residents in the Cardinia Shire. Through a wide range of programs, projects, and services, LLP aims to bridge cultural and social gaps by bringing people together and fostering a sense of community.
As a ‘Learn Local’ Community College, LLP provides quality training, education, and skill development in a supportive and flexible environment. The organization collaborates with various levels of government and community groups to identify community needs and design programs that align with its mission and vision. LLP also operates as a Neighbourhood House, supporting community development programs with a focus on disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals, promoting participation, inclusion, and overall well-being.
Living & Learning Pakenham Inc. serves over 1,300 individuals annually and welcomes over 7,000 visitors each year. With a commitment to reducing disadvantage and connecting individuals with external resources, LLP acts as a community connector, providing information, referral, and support services. Through its volunteer programs and comprehensive training offerings, LLP continues to play a vital role in building a healthy, connected community that values justice, equality, and social inclusion.
