Rince na hÉireann Darwin Irish Dance Association is a community-based Irish dance group located in Woolner, Darwin. Established in 1996, it is the longest running Irish dance school in the Northern Territory, boasting over 25 years of operations. With a focus on fostering a passion for Irish dance, the association offers engaging dance classes, regular performances, annual exams, competitions, and specialist developmental programs for its approximately 60 students ranging from ages 3 to over 70.

The school’s philosophy revolves around creating a supportive environment that promotes the development of life skills such as loyalty, commitment, discipline, leadership, and teamwork. Rince na hÉireann Darwin Irish Dance Association aims to preserve the history and promote the future of Irish dance, encompassing both traditional and contemporary dance styles, as well as the rich culture and music of Ireland. Through a variety of community performances and events, the association actively contributes to the cultural vibrancy of Darwin.
