Bright Futures Mildura is a privately owned early education and therapy center founded by Danielle O’Brien in 2011. The business was born out of a vision to create a place where learning is play-based, happy, and messy, allowing children to laugh, learn, and experiment freely. With a focus on play-based learning, the center offers programs designed to help children build confidence, self-esteem, and creative imagination. The team at Bright Futures Mildura is inspired by Reggio Emilio and Waldorf Education, aiming to inspire a lifelong love of learning in their students.
At Bright Futures Mildura, the philosophy is based on the belief that all children, regardless of neurodiversity, can learn with the right support. The center offers a range of services including play-based early learning classes, sensory-rich environments, and therapy programs aimed at supporting children’s development in various areas such as language, motor skills, emotional understanding, and creativity. The team at Bright Futures Mildura values inclusion, equity, and diversity, creating a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and cooperative learning.
Through their play-based programs, Bright Futures Mildura aims to help children develop social competence, memory skills, language skills, and self-regulation abilities. The center follows the Australian Government curriculum guidelines and frameworks to ensure high-quality learning experiences for children from birth to five years old. With a team of expert teachers and therapists, Bright Futures Mildura provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive.
