Goodstart Early Learning Albany is a not-for-profit early learning center dedicated to providing children with the best possible start in life through quality early learning experiences. Founded in 2009 by a consortium of leading community sector organizations, Goodstart is entirely Australian-owned and focused on contributing to a better future for Australia’s children and society as a whole. The center prides itself on creating stimulating and age-appropriate learning environments that give children a secure base to explore and learn.
At Goodstart, safety is a top priority, with strict health and safety guidelines, current first-aid qualifications, and comprehensive child safety policies in place to ensure the well-being of all children. The center offers a play-based learning approach, recognizing that children learn a variety of skills through play. The team of dedicated educators, led by experienced Centre Director Samantha Jones, work collaboratively to provide an engaging and nurturing environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Goodstart Early Learning Albany embraces diversity, celebrates inclusivity, and reaches out to families and communities, especially those facing disadvantage. The center acknowledges and respects the cultural and spiritual connection of First Nations peoples to the land, sky, and waterways. With a commitment to making every moment count, Goodstart is dedicated to laying the foundation for better lives and brighter futures for all children in their care.
