Narre Warren Warriors Basketball Club, established in 2001, is a volunteer-run organization competing in the Casey Basketball Association. With over 90 teams participating in various competitions, including Saturday juniors, after school juniors, Tuesday and Thursday seniors, and Thursday All Abilities, the club prides itself on inclusivity and fun for all skill levels.
The majority of the teams play games on Saturdays and have one training session per week, lasting one hour. Training sessions are held on different nights depending on the team, at either Cranbourne East Secondary College or Narre Warren South P-12. All coaches are dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping players grow and develop their basketball skills.
Narre Warren Warriors Basketball Club operates as a non-profit organization, overseen by a committee of volunteers. With a core team of four executive members and additional general committee members, the club’s philosophy revolves around creating a welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to participate and enjoy the sport of basketball.
